As we’re putting the finishing touches on this issue, Winter Storm Fern has wreaked havoc on most of the United States, even in the deep South. It’s ironic to go to press for our spring issue with icicles hanging from the fountain on my front porch and the roads covered in ice. But the sun will come out and the temperature will warm up and spring will soon be here.
We can’t wait for you flip through our digital copy and print magazine to see the amazing features in this issue. High Point Market has submitted their Style Spotter’s product picks from their fall market, and we always look forward to it. We have an incredible before and after of a lodge, a stunning home that has been updated, an amazing before and after of a kitchen and bathroom, and a wonderful, quirky outdoor feature. Each of these are unique much like Mississippians are.

I enjoy reading your publication. As a home décor magazine reading junkie, reviewing the beautifully done pictures of the expertly designed layouts of the different homes featured, by far makes your magazine now at the top of my reading list. You have done an outstanding job putting together all the features that appeal to the readers such as myself, and the professional designers that get ideas and vendor contacts from your publication.
I receive 5 different magazines and Stages Mississippi is definitely my favorite. When we built our house 3 years ago, I got many of the ideas from Stages.
As a magazine fiend, personally I don’t look at the ads much in major magazines because, living in Mississippi, it’s pretty much a given that whatever the ad is selling it isn’t available in this area. That assumption automatically surpasses interest level. The opposite is true of Stages. I read the ads as much as the content BECAUSE it’s locally available.
Your magazine is absolutely the best I have found, and I am constantly looking. I have honestly never seen any magazine with so much content in the articles and a style that allows one to clearly remember the individuals (and also somehow share your own values in a subtle way). I am about to find the Stages site and get my own subscription but just wanted you to know how much I admire the talent and hard work you put into making the magazine better than any magazine sold nationally! It truly is THAT GOOD!
