Welcome Spring 2025!
As we are putting the finishing touches on this issue, my water fountain on the front porch has icicles hanging on it! I’ll be so excited to see spring with new leaves on the trees and the tulips, snow bells, and daffodils emerging in my flower beds.
Nature has always amazed me, especially its awakening and growth in the spring. It reminds me of the parable in scripture when Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in a field, and this is smaller than all other seeds but when it is fully grown it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and rest in its branches” (Matthew 13-31–32). Remember to plant seeds in the hearts of your friends, coworkers, family, and even strangers you meet. God will do the rest. Our job is just to plant the seeds.
As usual, this issue’s features are all different from one another. We have a new home and three remodeled homes and spaces, and they all show different personalities. We are also grateful that High Point Market Authority continues to share their Produce Picks with us.

I enjoy reading your publication. As a home décor magazine reading junkie, reviewing the beautifully done pictures of the expertly designed layouts of the different homes featured, by far makes your magazine now at the top of my reading list. You have done an outstanding job putting together all the features that appeal to the readers such as myself, and the professional designers that get ideas and vendor contacts from your publication.
I receive 5 different magazines and Stages Mississippi is definitely my favorite. When we built our house 3 years ago, I got many of the ideas from Stages.
As a magazine fiend, personally I don’t look at the ads much in major magazines because, living in Mississippi, it’s pretty much a given that whatever the ad is selling it isn’t available in this area. That assumption automatically surpasses interest level. The opposite is true of Stages. I read the ads as much as the content BECAUSE it’s locally available.
Your magazine is absolutely the best I have found, and I am constantly looking. I have honestly never seen any magazine with so much content in the articles and a style that allows one to clearly remember the individuals (and also somehow share your own values in a subtle way). I am about to find the Stages site and get my own subscription but just wanted you to know how much I admire the talent and hard work you put into making the magazine better than any magazine sold nationally! It truly is THAT GOOD!
