Welcome Fall 2025!
I’ve been thinking about seasons lately. We know that life is short and our circumstances can change in an instant. But every season in our life is temporary, and most will eventually change. The autumn colors will soon begin to appear in nature, and the deciduous trees will start dropping their leaves. Just as Ecclesiastes 1:1 reminds us, “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.” Some seasons in our lives are exceptionally good, and some are hard. We can only expect these changes, adapt, and learn to accept what the Creator has woven into the fabric of our lives. Maybe we need to learn a lesson from the trees. If they don’t worry about dropping their leaves and whether they will grow new ones in the spring, then perhaps we should try to take in stride the things that happen to us in different seasons in our lives.
We can’t wait for you to peruse through the magazine and see the fabulous homes in this fall issue. Each home is unique, and different from the others, and they remind me of how different we are as individuals. But at the same time, Mississippians are truly the most humble, incredible, generous, and hospitable people. They welcome us into their homes and allow us to take photos and share their stories with you. We are grateful and blessed. And, as always, this issue is also packed full of editorial articles and informative promotional business articles.

I enjoy reading your publication. As a home décor magazine reading junkie, reviewing the beautifully done pictures of the expertly designed layouts of the different homes featured, by far makes your magazine now at the top of my reading list. You have done an outstanding job putting together all the features that appeal to the readers such as myself, and the professional designers that get ideas and vendor contacts from your publication.
I receive 5 different magazines and Stages Mississippi is definitely my favorite. When we built our house 3 years ago, I got many of the ideas from Stages.
As a magazine fiend, personally I don’t look at the ads much in major magazines because, living in Mississippi, it’s pretty much a given that whatever the ad is selling it isn’t available in this area. That assumption automatically surpasses interest level. The opposite is true of Stages. I read the ads as much as the content BECAUSE it’s locally available.
Your magazine is absolutely the best I have found, and I am constantly looking. I have honestly never seen any magazine with so much content in the articles and a style that allows one to clearly remember the individuals (and also somehow share your own values in a subtle way). I am about to find the Stages site and get my own subscription but just wanted you to know how much I admire the talent and hard work you put into making the magazine better than any magazine sold nationally! It truly is THAT GOOD!
